On Saturday, March 23 at 6:00 PM in Toruń ARENA the official opening of 8th Indoor World Masters Athletics Championships will take place. As part of the official inauguration, there will be a traditional march of the participants in front of the audience. We hope that representatives of all 88 submitted representations will take part in it. The organizers provide tables with the names of countries and national flags.
Due to the limited space at the Arena, each of the teams should have a maximum of 20 people. Everyone should wear representative tracksuits. Team Managers of national teams are asked to choose their ensigns who will take the flags and lead their teams during the march. The gathering of participants of the march is scheduled for 5.30 p.m in the warm-up area (point 5 on the plan on page 56 of the Competitor handbook) at the Arena Toruń.
After the official part, we would like to invite you to a concert – “A musical journey around the world” – these will be contemporary arrangements of film hits about sports performed by the best Toruń musicians. Come and join us!
